The cottage sleeps 4/6 people and has been finished to an extremely high standard, with your comfort in mind. The picturesuqe village of Sheriff Hutton is just one mile away and has a post office and two charming pubs, perfect for an evening out. Here at Cheese Vat Farm we have the best of both worlds and enjoy a peaceful rural location just 12 miles from the historic city of York. Castle Howard and the North York Moors, Whitby and the magnificent east coast are all within easy reach by car.

The Granary has a relaxing sitting room with comfortable sofas, woodburning stove and forty inch wall mounted plasma screen television for your entertainment. The kitchen, snug and dining area is a large single span room with fully fitted granite and walnut kitchen with integrated appliances including dishwasher, fridge freezer, hob, oven and microwave. The snug has a 32" flat screen TV and I-Pod docking station and a sofa bed. Outside there is a large grass area and tennis court for your use. In the courtyard there is a terrace area with gas barbecue, hardwood circular table and chairs, umbrella and cushions. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and views over the open countryside. There is also a double/twin bedroom with en-suite and views on the east to Terrington Ridge. Wireless broadband internet access throughout. No pets inside the property. A heated kennel can be used for shooting dogs. No smokers, thank you. A heatwave sauna is available in the utility room.
