On the door step of the Peak District and just one hours drive from the historic cities of York and Harrogate, and the Yorkshire Dales, Harden Moss is the perfect base for your break. We love to get out and about too, so if you'd like a guided tour of the area - just ask. The area is a popular filming location for Last of the Summer Wine, and there are many walking, cycling and riding routes straight out of our front door. We even have a stable and land for your horse.
The Olde Coach House is a large detached period property, luxuriously fitted out and set within its own grounds. The cottage is equipped with separate dining room and large lounge and there are beautiful log fires on both the lounge and the kitchen. The cottage lies in the grounds of Harden Moss Country House and through them visitors can arrange horse riding and carriage driving lessons available on request. Should you wish to bring your own houses stabling and grazing is available.
