Whitby is near to Robin hoods bay, Scarborough, Filey, Runswick bay, Sandsend and Grosmont. It also has a wonderful sandy beach great for days out with the children. Whitby is the home of Count Dracula, Captain Cook and William Scoresby to name but a few. It is also near to 'heartbeat country' and many national heritage sites.
