The Bothy is situated next to the walled garden in the charming market town of Helmsley in the North York Moors National Park. The beautiful garden dates back to 1758 and is set against the spectacular backdrop of the town's castle. The garden was originally developed to supply the kitchens of the attached castle and the Bothy itself was the accommodation for the head gardener and has now been extensively refurbished to provide simple but comfortable holiday accommodation.
The single storey building overlooks the open countryside and guests enjoy free access to the garden during open hours. The accommodation consists of a living room, kitchenette, bedroom with twin beds and a shower room. The accommodation is on the ground floor and is suitable for people with disabilities with wheelchair access and showering facilities.
