The coast offers opportunities for walking, birdwatching at the Wildfowl Trust at Bempton and exploring the many quaint villages and towns dotting the area. The surrounding area is steeped in history with heritage properties such as Castle Howard, Sledmere House, Nunnington Hall, Duncombe Park, Kirkham Priory, Pickering and Helmsley Castles. The walker's paradise of the North York Moors are just 12 miles away and are an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Each cottage is fully equipped to a high standard and sleeps two people in one bedroom with a king size bed. Each property is on the ground floor and is fitted with a well equipped kitchen complete with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster and iron. The lounge contains a widescreen TV, DVD player and radio/CD player for your entertainment. The courtyard is enclosed and has a patio area with furniture, barbecue and fire pit.
