Bailey Motte Cottage lies at the heart of the medieval market town of Knaresborough, adjacent to the Norman Castle and just a few minutes walk from the market square and lovely riverside walks. This charming 17th century property is situated within its own walled gardens and is only a few minutes walk from the town centre and railway station. Knaresborough has a range of pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes and there is a thriving Wednesday market. The stylish Edwardian town of Harrogate is only ten minutes away by car, bus or train and York, Leeds, the Yorkshire Moors and Dales are within easy reach.

Visitors to the cottage are assured of privacy as they have a full floor of this charming cottage to themselves, comprising of a lounge, large double bedroom, bathroom and separate shower. The lounge is complete with TV, DVD player, CD and record player and a collection of games for your entertainment. There is a wood burning stove for those cosy off season breaks and the lounge looks out over the delightful walled garden to the front and over the dry moat to Knaresborough Castle to the rear.
