Easby Cottage offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the picturesque hamlet of Easby, close to Richmond in North Yorkshire. The cottage dates back to the eighteenth century and has been developed around a Georgian country cottage, sympathetically extended by a barn conversion. The property retains many original features including original oak beams in many rooms, and exudes charm and character. The nearby historic town of Richmond has many attractions such as the large market square, castle and Georgian Theatre and serves as the gateway to Swaledale.
Start the day with a hearty Yorkshire breakfast in our separate dining room. Guests are welcome to relax in the large lounge area located in the barn extension. Here you will find a range of books as well as games such as chess that can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on the comfortable sofas. There is a large log burning marble fireplace to ensure your comfort on the cooler evenings.
Rooms Description
Easby Cottage has two individually decorated bedrooms. One is a large twin bedded room with en-suite facilities and the other is a double bedroom which shares use of the adjacent house bathroom. Each room is equipped with flat screen television, DVD player, digital radio, hospitality tray, hair dryer and alarm clock.
Specialities
Children over the age of 12 are welcome. Please note that Easby Cottage is strictly non smoking and that we are unable to accept pets. Pick-up and drop-offs for walkers can be arranged with the owner. Day fishing permits may be obtained in season for the nearby river Swale. Packed lunches are available if ordered in advance.

The house is situated in the conservation hamlet of Easby, a 5 minute drive from Richmond centre or a pleasant 20 minute walk along the river-side paths. It is located on the Coast to Coast route. There is secure off-road parking. Detailed directions are e-mailed when booking.
