Visit the fascinating Captain Cook Memorial Museum in Whitby centre, housed within the former home of ship owner John Walker where Cook came as apprentice in 1746. Climb the steps to the iconic cliff top ruins of Whitby Abbey with adjacent museum visitor centre. Stunning coastal walking features between Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay and guests can access the North Yorkshire Moors steam railway from Whitby station.
