Interludes is a beautifully intimate Georgian grade II listed building spread over five floors (no lift!), ideally located in the old town conservation area of Scarborough twixt castle and harbour. We're up on the hill, and therefore command beautiful views across South Bay. Each of our five bedrooms is uniquely decorated and accommodates two guests. Four rooms are en-suite. Many recommendations including, in 2004, the Stephen Joseph Theatre (theatre break available) and the Sunday Telegraph.
Penny and Sasha Cat, the real owners, have 'put their paws down' and unfortunately do not allow children or dogs. Peace and quiet is on the menu for guests, who can relax with friends in our soothing lounge with twin Chesterfields. The dining room has just two mahogany tables and, in common with the rest of the building, a display of theatre prints, photographs and other memorabilia. Evening meals must be ordered in advance, and we cater for vegetarian and other special diets. We have a drinks license for residents only. PLEASE NOTE: We do not take single night bookings over bank holidays. ?60 per couple is the maximum B&B price per night - there are substantial discounts for 3-6 and 7+ nights.
