Interludes is a charming grade II listed hotel located in the heart of the Old Town area of Scarborough, offering friendly accommodation in an excellent location. We offer a range of comfortable guest bedrooms in our theatre themed hotel, each of which has either en-suite or private facilities. Interludes is ideal for theatre goers, and we offer a range of packages to see performances at the Stephen Joseph Theatre throughout the year. The accommodation also benefits from excellent facilities, including a spacious lounge and an attractively decorated dining room where you can enjoy delicious home made food and a glass of wine.
Interludes is located on a hillside in the Old Town conservation area of Scarborough and has panoramic views over the South Bay. We are ideally placed for exploring all that Scarborough has to offer. Enjoy a relaxing stroll on the beautiful sandy beaches, visit Scarborough Castle and enjoy fun activities such as crazy golf and boating. The town is also home to the Sealife and Marine Sanctuary where you can get up close and personal with amazing sea creatures. Theatre lovers are especially well catered for, and we have a range of packages for theatre breaks with tickets to shows at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, where internationally acclaimed playwright Sir Alan Ayckbourn premiers his latests plays.
Interludes has five comfortable guest bedrooms, with double, twin and four poster rooms available. All rooms have either en-suite or private bathrooms and benefit from excellent facilities including quality furnishings, a TV, hairdryer, radio, central heating and hospitality tray as standard. Each of our rooms is individually designed and has a theatrical theme.
Interludes is Gay and Straight friendly. Sexual preference is simply not an issue here. It's more important that you are 'Interludes- friendly' (affable, open minded, non-smoking and hopefully with an interest in theatre!). Sasha and Marple, the real owners, have 'put their paws down' and unfortunately do not allow children or dogs.
