A luxurious country house set in three acres of formal grounds and offering five star guest accommodation close to Leyburn in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales

Thornton Lodge is a luxurious country house offering five star B&B with dinner by arrangement in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Located between Aysgarth Falls and Hawes on a tranquil lane and surrounded by pasture land this really is an idylic place. Guests are at leisure to relax within the house and grounds throughout their stay, our aim being to provide a home from home experience within a magnificent setting.

Breakfast is served in the magnificent oak panelled dining room where you can start the day wit a choice of fresh fruit, juices, yoghurts, cereals and a hearty cooked breakfast. Evening meals are also available by prior arrangement and my speciality is Wensleydale beef, roasted, with Yorkshire puddings and seasonal vegetables. Lighter alternatives are also available and other dishes can be prepared on request. The surrounding villages have many fabulous places in which to eat and we would be happy to book you into any of these during your stay.
