Boasting stunning views towards Whitby Abbey, the beach and the North Sea, we cater for two guests in unashamed yet independent luxury. You'll have a delicious continental style breakfast with homemade preserves, yogurts, cereals, fruit etc., which is left in the kitchenette to be enjoyed at your leisure – and at a time to suit you

Nestling within the pretty grounds of Beacon Hill, the Porthole has its own private entrance and on-site car parking. The living space includes an immaculately presented double bedroom with a unique nautical theme featuring a six foot bed and antique ships lamps and a character ‘porthole’. The bathroom is fully fitted with a large kidney shaped bath with shower and the small kitchenette area contains a sink, fridge, toaster, a kettle and kitchen china and cutlery. After a long day’s walking and touring, guests can relax and gaze at the sea with a glass of wine from our beautiful private terrace with breathtaking sea views, accessed via French doors. Alternatively the home features a TV, radio, DVD and a selection of films and books for your relaxation.
