Ideal for families or couples looking for a break in York, the two bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps four people. The warm and relaxing lounge is sunny by day and cosy by night. Well presented and furnished to a high standard, equipped with freeview TV, DVD & Sony ps2. Also a selection of books, cd's, DVD's and games. The galley kitchen is well equipped, perfect for the self catering visitor.
Mayfield Cottage is the perfect base to explore York and further afield. Within walking distance are excellent local amenities. For visitors not wanting to drive, a regular bus service is close by to take you in and around York, as far east as the coast, or west to Leeds City Centre. For those wanting to enjoy the sights of York City Centre there really is something for everyone, adults and children alike. Fabulous shopping, great cafe culture, museums, art galleries, Gothic architecture, as well as the city’s Viking heritage.
Mayfield Cottage sleeps 4 - Comprising of one kingsize double room with ample storage and quality bedlinen. The second bedroom is a bright and comfortable twin room. An inflatable bed (to suit a small child) and a travel cot are available. The galley kitchen is fully equipped including coffee machine, toaster, microwave, fridge, washing machine & cooker. The bathroom is fresh and clean with shower over the bath and plentiful hot water. Bed linen & towels are provided. For the safety of young children, a high chair, fire guard and stair gate are also available.
Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, close to the world renound York Racecourse. There is a small front cottage garden and a rear door leads from the dining room to a rear courtyard with patio heater and BBQ.There is also an equipped hamper for sunnier days. Described as many visitors as 'home from home' - a perfect base for a family holiday!
