Visit Websitefor more informationWe are proud to announce that Laura's Cottage has been Awarded the 2009 Self Catering Holiday Accommodation of the Year Award forThe Yorkshire Moors and Coast. The cottage is blissfully situated in a rural setting on the edge of National park in the North York Moors near to Cropton forest. We have converted a 200 year old barn into a luxurious 5 star two-bedroom cottage. The newly renovated cottage is on the grounds of a farm being run by the host family, which has stunning views overlooking the nearby vale of Pickering. To ensure a comfortable say the cottage has been furnished to the very highest standard with fittings mostly from Laura Ashley. Laura's cottage is ideally situated for exploring moors and coast, Pickering North York Moors steam railway 4 miles away, Castle Howard, Whitby, Heartbeat Country, Helmsley and York Minster are all within 30 minutes drive.
All of the the rooms in Laura's cottages are on the ground floor and the building boasts an impressive large kitchen and lounge. The kitchen has everything you could require to make your stay comfortable, with a microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher included. You make yourselves cosy in the lounge watching DVD's on the flat screen TV in front of the fire. There are French doors leading out onto your own private patio, which has fantastic views over open countryside. All our guests are welcome to make use of our mature south facing walled garden complete with garden furniture. At Laura's cottage you will find a warm friendly welcome with home cooked goodies to greet you.
Those staying in the double room are going to love having access to the luxurious steam cabin, with granite floors, showers and Laura Ashley tiles. There is also a twin bedded room that can easily be converted into a six-foot bed with it's own bathroom. Both rooms include their own flat screen TV, as well as bath towels and cotton sheets.
