Flamborough Head and the Yorkshire coast are a mere 9 miles away whilst historic York and Beverley are also within easy driving distance.
Kilham Hall offers exquisitely furnished Country House Accommodation fusing old world charm with contemporary chic. Each stunning room is individually designed, furnished with silks, velvets, and glamorous furniture, and is exceptionally comfortable. With luxurious toiletries from The White Company, whirlpool baths, rainfall showers, fluffy robes and jewel like bathrooms, Kilham Hall is a rare find indeed, simply waiting to be discovered. Rooms have large flat screen TV’s with satellite channels, CD players, most have DVD players and additionally offer a hot drinks tray, bottled mineral water and Egyptian cotton bed linen. In the Drawing Room you can find a small CD library, up to date magazines, local history, interest, walking books and not to mention a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Fairfax is a classic four poster room with an extra large king size bed, silk drapes & opulent furnishings and seating area. En-suite with huge walk-in shower cubicle & rain shower, glass washstand & underfloor heating....... Harewood is a stunning junior suite with king sized bespoke suede feature bed with glamorous deep buttoned high headboard & seating area with sensational en-suite bathroom and romantic freestanding contemporary whirlpool bath, funky washstand, separate shower cublicle with rain shower & under floor heating....... Sledmere is a stylish contemporary suite with private exterior entrance adjacent to the pool as well as entrance via the main house. Separate dressing room with feature spiral staircase leading to bright double aspect bedroom with Juliet balcony overlooking the pool and croquet lawn. Stunning king sized leather bed & soft leather sofa with spacious bathroom and romantic oversized air spa bath for 2. Additional separate shower cubicle with rain shower, luxury travertine tiling & under floor heating. Sledmere benefits from its own outside seating area next to the pool. This room is regretfully unsuitable for visitors with mobility difficulties.
On arrival you will be greeted with afternoon tea and home made scones by the friendly and enthusiastic owner Joanne Long. Delicious breakfasts using local, organic and homemade produce are Joanne’s speciality and include her famously indulgent Hearty Yorkshire Breakfast alternatively Scrambled free range eggs with chives and Smoked Salmon on toasted muffin or Eggs Benedict with Yorkshire Bacon are amongst a selection of other items offered daily.
