Oaklands Holidays offers beautiful and luxurious accommodation set in two and a half acres of stunning grounds on the banks of the River Esk, close to Whitby's magnificent Viaduct. Guests looking for a self catering holiday can choose from a luxury caravan or a charming detached cottage. The cottage is perfect for a family of four looking to get away from it all and the caravan is great for a family of four or two couples.

Only one and half miles away, you will find the pretty village of Ruswarp, where you will find all the amenities that you should need as well as cafes, boat hire, a miniature steam railway and a children's play area. Additionally the inviting coastal town of Whitby is just a five minute drive away, where you can explore various attractions including the Dracula Experience and Whitby Abbey. Other places well worth a visit include Pickering, Filey and Scarborough.

Rooms Description

Eskbank is a luxury cottage privately set amidst trees yet the views from the cottage are completely unrestricted. The cottage comprises of a lounge with Sky television and DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, double bedroom, a second bedroom with bunk beds and a shower room. There is also a patio area with a table and chairs and a barbecue. The caravan is fitted with central heating, double glazing and smoke detectors and comprises of a contemporary lounge with television and DVD player, a kitchen and dining area, a master bedroom with en-suite toilet, a twin bedroom and a shower room. There is a private, decked area at the front and space for car parking.

Specialities

Guests can benefit from river access for boat launching, canoeing and duck feeding on the private jetty. A complimentary welcome pack will be provided on arrival. Pets are allowed with permission to Eskbank Cottage but not the caravan due to light decor. Both types of accommodation are smoke free.
