The town of Thirsk is perhaps best known as the home of the veterinary surgeon and author, James Herriot. His former practice is now a museum dedicated to his life and works.
Thirsk is in the centre of 'Herriot Country' and is gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west aand the North York Moors National Park to the east. The town has a central cobbled market square, surrounded by shops and places to eat. Leisure facilities available within the town include a Ritz Cinema and swimming pool with gym and sauna facilities.
Coalbrookdale has three bedrooms available including on double with en-suite and two twins with shower rooms. All rooms are complete with tea and coffee making facilities, LCD TV, alarm clock and air conditioning.
