Pinewood Holiday Park is a small, quiet family run site situated just one and a half miles from the town centre, which makes it very easy to walk. In addition to the main site, we also have a rally field which has room enough for 40 caravans and has stunning views across the Yorkshire Wolds. We have six authentic native American Indian tipis for rent, each sleeping up to four - 2 adults and 2 children. Each tipi is spacious and complete with its own wood burning stove and futons, all you need bring are sleeping bags, pillows and a torch. Gas stoves are available for hire from us, should you wish to cut down on luggage.
Rooms Description
We have thirteen pitches with electric hook up. Camping space is also available. Six tipis are also available for rent, each capable of sleeping up to four people. The tipis are very spacious, yet cosy and clean, as they have wooden floors and a wood burning stove. They are environmentally friendly and you really do feel like you are getting close to nature. They are the perfect way to unwind and leave the stresses of everyday life behind. Tipis are brilliant for spending quality family time together, but are also extremely romantic for couples.

Dogs are welcome at the site at no extra charge, though we do ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and walked next on the brilliant dog walking path which runs next to the site with open countryside and stunning views. Directions
We are quite easy to find as we are on the main Scarborough to Pickering Road (A170). There are no little farm lanes or side roads to go down, so access is very good compared with some sites. The site is set back, so even though Pinewood is directly off the main road, it is still very quiet. From the A64: after Staxton roundabout, approx 3 miles from Scarborough,at the next roundabout take the 1st exit (Seamer, Ayton) onto Main Street, Seamer. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit,(straight on). Take the first right onto Irton Moor Lane. Carry on and at the top of the road, turn right. Carry on up the hill for a couple of minutes only, and as you see the speed limit change to 40 MPH, we are immediately there on your left. If you miss the turning, don't worry, there's a round about half a mile down the road - just go round the roundabout and back up the hill! IF YOU ARE USING SAT NAV - once on the A170, and only 1/5 mile away, it will tell you to take the next turning up a small road sign posted Irton Mount. (This is a small farm track with a farm with a small camping and caravanning site there - this is not us). Carry on up the main road (up hill) and we are on your next left after this turning. From A165 (Filey): turn left as A1039/King Hill. Continue to follow A1039. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A64. Then follow directions as above.
