Crakehall is claimed to be one of the prettiest villages in the Dales. The village green, just 5 minutes walk from Crakehall Watermill, is overlooked by the imposing manor house, St Gregory's Church, the Bay Horse pub and a well stocked local shop. The village cricket and quoits teams often play on the green in this beautiful setting during the summer.

There are 3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms overlooking the historic Crakehall Watermill, Bedale Beck and beyond. We have 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin, each with their own bathroom. Our extra comfy beds invite an excellent night's sleep. A guest sitting room provides the opportunity to relax and admire the garden or enjoy browsing through a selection of magazines and books on the area. The log fire is a welcome sight in the cooler weather. Guests can enjoy the garden in the summer, relaxing on the bench under the apple tree. Home made cake and Yorkshire tea on arrival, delicious Yorkshire breakfasts. Breakfast and Dinner are served in the dining room. All food is locally sourced wherever possible and freshly prepared. Evening meal available by prior arrangement and guests are welcome to bring their own wine to enjoy with their dinner.
