About this property

Our holiday cottage can sleep from two up to six people in 3 bedrooms. We're close to the North Yorkshire Coast, just 10 miles to the fishing town of Whitby. The cottage is part of a working family farm which has been in the family for generations. Under floor heating throughout the ground floor making it very cosy in the winter months (or cool summers!) and in warm summers we provide a barbecue and garden furniture and invite you to enjoy sitting in the enclosed and sheltered lawned garden with patio

We converted our threshing barn and wheelhouse into a lovely self catering holiday cottage accommodation with underfloor heating to the ground floor and all the comfort you need for a holiday exploring the diversity of Yorkshire from the stunning Coast or the medieval city of York to the eighteen mile Moors Railway

The accommodation sleeps from two to six people. There are two rooms with king size beds, one of which is situated on the ground floor to provide suitable disabled access. There's also a twin room which can be a king size if required. We have a wet room on the ground floor and a bathroom on the first. There's an open plan lounge with stove, TV/DVD/Freeview and CD/Radio. The kitchen is equipped with all amenities and we'll provide a cot and highchair if you need.

To start off your holiday we welcome you with a complimentary tea tray and homemade cake on arrival. All fuel, power, bed linen and towels are provided and there's ample car parking spaces for all guests
