Flamborough Rigg Cottage is a luxurious 5 star Gold Bed and Breakfast situated on the edge of Cropton Forest within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It offers you the best of both worlds; all the warmth of home combined with the style and comfort of a boutique hotel. Our rooms are designed to offer everything you may wish for, from fresh ground coffee to a DVD player. Enjoy our award winning Yorkshire breakfast cooked using local ingredients, including many from our own garden. Ideally placed for walking your dogs or mountain biking through the forest, you can explore the stunning moors or stroll along the beach on Britain's most breath taking coastline.

We are close to Pickering with its wonderful steam railway, the stunning North Yorkshire coast including Whitby and Sandsend with its great beach. Also nearby is the walled garden at Scampston, Castle Howard, the market town of Helmsley with Rievaulx Abbey and Duncombe Park, the magnificent City of York is only a short drive away. Equally Flamborough Rigg Cottage is perfect for sitting in the garden with a glass of wine looking at the views over the forest and Newtondale. The garden is fully enclosed making it safe for dogs. There is a summerhouse with sun trap terrace and barbeque.

Additional Information

We offer three unique and luxurious bedrooms for our guests, two of which have French doors opening directly into the garden. All rooms are complete with LCD TV and DVD player, hairdryer, dab radio alarm clock, a hospitality tray with real coffee, a selection of teas, chocolate and local Blue Keld water. There are fluffy towels, cosy dressing gowns and complimentary Archive toiletries. Our dining room with it's twenty foot high vaulted ceiling, showcases our greatest passion; food. We use seasonal produce, home sourced or as local as possible. We are lucky to have some of Britain's finest ingredients on our doorstep.
