The property is located in the picturesque Calder Valley on the edge of sleepy Luddenden Village, and just 5 miles from the pretty market town of Hebden Bridge. Despite the extensive and modern renovation, the farmhouse has retained many of its original features and character. It provides the perfect place to stay for those looking for a peaceful, country style break away from home.

The location of the farmhouse is ideal for outdoor pursuits including fell running, mountain biking, horse riding and walking. Hebden Bridge offers attractive, individual shops, cafes, restaurants and inns. Hebden Bridge has even been selected by 'Highlife' magazine as the "4th Funkiest Town in the World". Nearby Halifax is a great place to visit and is the home to Eureka!, the museum for children. 'Eureka!' is an interactive museum where children play to learn and grown-ups learn to play. Halifax is just 17 miles from Leeds where you will find plenty of places to shop, eat and drink. There are also lots of places of interest including Harewood House, Abbey House Museum, Leeds City Art Gallery, Tropical World, Waterfall Spa and Europe's largest indoor market, Kirkgate Market, to name just a few.

On the ground floor of the farmhouse, you will find a comfortable lounge with a TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player, wireless broadband access, and a log/coal burning stove. The kitchen has been fitted to a high standard and is fully equipped with an electric double-oven cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer. There is also a back door leading to a patio garden with suitable furniture for outdoor dining. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a high ceiling, a queen size bed and an en-suite wet room. Additionally the master bedroom has a mezzanine gallery room overlooking the bedroom with two futons that can be converted into two single beds. There is a second bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom overlooks the lawn at the rear of the house. High quality bedding is provided, including feather-down duvets and high quality cotton sheets. There are stone flag floors downstairs, as well as oak beams and original stone fireplaces.

The farmhouse is situated in 5 acres of unspoilt countryside which you can freely explore. We offer a good selection of games, books and DVDs, with routes of walks, runs and bike rides in the area also provided. There is plenty of space for parking and secure indoor storage for bikes etc. This property has a strict no smoking policy. The property benefits from beautiful views and often glorious sunsets can be seen.
