The building enjoys a south facing position, is conveniently close to the Esplanade and retains many of its original Victorian and Edwardian features. Offering superb views over the green and out to sea, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a holiday on Scarborough's fantastic coast. Excellent for any Scarborough short breaks, the Earlsmere offers access to many Scarborough attractions and activities such as The Italian Gardens, Olivers Mount, superb golf courses and excellent sporting facilities.
The Earlsmere B&B is conveniently located close to the Esplanade, the Spa and a range of good restaurants and bars, where you can enjoy a relaxed evening. The property itself has many exceptional features to make your stay unique and interesting. It retains most of its original late Victorian/early Edwardian features, including an elegant staircase with a beautiful stain glass window. The original fireplaces and gas lamps also help to capture the sense of history within the premises, and the whole atmosphere is designed to promote a tranquil and relaxing experience.
The Earlsmere B&B has five en-suite bedrooms. All rooms have a feature fireplace, television, radio, heating, bathrobes, hair dryers and courtesy trays with ground coffee, tea and fresh milk. Home-made biscuits and a bedtime drink are also provided. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated in Victorian style with high quality bedding and soft furnishings. All en-suites have superior fixtures and fittings. Wireless internet access is available to all rooms. There is a guest lounge which is decorated in Victorian style, with comfort a high priority. Guests can browse through the selection of books and magazines of interest, while relaxing.
The Earlsmere has fantastic reviews on tripadvisor!!No parking problems here. We are outside the restricted areas and have lots of free parking directly outside. We do not provide any facilities for under 12's. Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets. We are very interested in the history of this beautiful house, and we hope you will enjoy the detailed information provided around The Earlsmere during your stay. a 10 - 15 minute walk along the Esplanade to the Town Centre. The Spa Conference Centre and lift are a few minutes walk from here. Breakfast is freshly prepared each morning using locally sourced produce wherever possible and is cooked to order from a choice menu.
