Guests can be sure of a relaxing and tranquil break at Blackthorn Gate Holiday Lodges where you can sit back and enjoy the spectacular views of Roseberry Topping and the National park stretching from your door. Each lodge features a picture window to allow you to make the most of the wonderful views, a veranda and a sauna in which you can sit and let your stresses and strains drift away.
Curlew and Chaffinch Lodges are single storey lodges and accommodate up to four people. Skylark and Lapwing Lodges are set over two floors and each accommodate between four and six people. Each has a living room, dining room and two bedrooms with the master bedroom having en-suite facilities. There is a drying room, should you need to air out your all weather gear and a veranda where you can make the most of the warmer days! All the lodges also have their own private sauna. Blackthorn Gate Lodges benefit from a communal laundry and games room in the centre of the site. Each lodge has its own sauna and guests can enjoy use of the three well stocked fishing ponds on site. Access to 230 acres of farmland and private network of footpaths.
There are a wide range of attractions to be found within easy reach of the lodges and whether you enjoy shopping, exercise, nature, adventure or eating out you are sure to find something to satisfy. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park consists of over 500 square miles of moorland, woodland, dales and coastline and is just waiting to be explored. Other attractions include Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, the Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum, Beamish Museum and Captain Cook's Birthplace Museum. Should you wish to stay closer to home there are a range of walks around the farm in addition to three fully stocked fishing ponds where guests can while away the hours.
