Situated in the heart of the Old Town in Whitby, complete with narrow cobbled streets and a rich sense of history, The Nook offers self-catering accommodation for up to six people. Our cottage is thoughtfully furnished and beautifully decorated, and it perfectly merges modern style and rustic features including beamed ceilings. The cottage stands in the shadows of Whitby Abbey, and offers all you need for an unforgettable family holiday in a car-free part of this peaceful coastal town.

The Nook stands within walking distance of a sheltered beach, and comes complete with a large living room including dining facilities, Sky TV, a DVD player and a library of DVDs. Patio doors lead to an enclosed courtyard, and a well-equipped kitchen contains all essential appliances. One double bedroom houses a luxurious oak sleigh bed, and the other is an attic room looking out to the Whale Bones arch and Captain Cook's monument. The third bedroom is a bunk room for children, and comes complete with everything needed to keep the kids entertained. We've provided a TV, a VCR, a Playstation 2 console and a selection of videos and games, as well as books and board games for a quiet, technology-free afternoon.
