Property Information

Referred to in the Domesday book as Ventorp, Ingthorpe Grange was once owned by the monks of Bolton Priory and run as a kind of monastic farm. It was rebuilt in 1672 by the Baldwin family who lived there for 5 generations. It is a very special place whose peace and tranquillity reflects its monastic history. On the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Ingthorpe is nestled at the heart of the soft rolling landscape which typifies the area. Footpaths and bridleways criss cross the immediate surroundings and the historic towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale and Harrogate are within easy reach. Please call 07768 555789 for more details.

Ingthorpe offers a romantic and peaceful retreat . Your breakfast will be hearty and cooked using local produce ...including eggs from our own chickens! and will be served in the beautiful dining room ....beside a welcoming log fire if there is the slightest sign of a chill. During the summer months breakfast can be taken on the terrace with hills, trees and birdsong as the backdrop.
