Leeds/Bradford Airport can be reached in 40 minutes by car and Wakefield Inter city train station is just ten minutes away. Originally built in 1850, this cottage hotel is a fine example of early Victorian architecture. The main Victorian residence and original coaching house have been sympathetically converted and extended whist enhancing original character and features. The area surrounding Heath Cottage offers a host of attractions to visit including the renowned Yorkshire Sculpture Park and numerous leisure activities and stunning walking in West Yorkshire.
The hotel's location is just a short drive to Leeds, Bradford and Sheffield which all offer a host of cultural pursuits including museums, independent cinema and a choice of acclaimed art galleries and theatres. Extensive dining and banqueting facilities are available for up to 90 guests. The elegant restaurant offers both A'la Carte and Table d'Hôte menus serving traditional English cuisine with a French flair. We specialise in catering for weddings, private dining and special events in our restaurant and function room.

We are licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnership ceremonies and all of our suites are approved for these most special of occasions. The patio and garden area are lovingly tended to ensure a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photographs. The Hotel can accommodate up to 90 guests for a formal wedding breakfast and up to 150 for your evening reception.
