Perfectly located as a touring base to enjoy great days out and indulgent evenings to suit every mood and taste our cottage, formerly a farm building, has been professionally converted, fitted and equipped to the highest standards for your comfort, enjoyment and relaxation. Between the villages of Flaxton and Sheriff Hutton but close to York, The Bothy is set at the end of a private drive leading to the owners East Lilling Grange Farm. It boasts a superb indoor swimming pool and spa complex and overlooks lovely gardens, all of which we hope you will enjoy. Be assured of a very warm welcome when you arrive for your indulgent "you-time" break. We are never far away if you need anything, but we will never be in the way!

We want you to have the best time at The Bothy, so we really focus on providing a great experience. We're always easy to contact before you arrive, and once you're here we'll give you everything you need before leaving you to enjoy you break. We provide hot beverages and fresh flowers to get your holiday off to a good start, and have included everything you could possibly need within The Bothy. The cottage is a single-storey cottage for two, with one bedroom and an open-plan lounge including a TV, DVD player and dining/kitchen area. The large double bedroom includes a further TV and DVD player. The Bothy includes a large shower room, and has a private walled courtyard garden including outdoor seating and a BBQ (summer months).
