This beautiful North Yorkshire town boasts plenty of attractions and activities, from historical battle scenes and structures, such as Scarborough Castle, to entertainment and leisure activities. The Abacus provides guests with a comfortable and calm rest that will soothe and relax the muscles after a busy day out in the town. There are 3 double en-suite rooms, a family room and 3 single rooms. Guests will receive free parking and a selection of breakfasts.
The family run Abacus Guest House is located on the north side of Scarborough, close to the beach, Peasholm Park and other attractions. The South Bay Beach is within walking distance whilst a little closer by visitors will find the town centre, railway station, Stephen Joseph Theatre, casino, restaurants and bars. Other amenities to be found within easy reach include an indoor swimming pool, Sealife Centre, cricket ground and an indoor/outdoor bowls centre. We are extremely well placed for exploring all that Scarborough has to offer and from here it is possible to walk along the cliffs to Scarborough Castle. The resort is the ideal base from which to explore the rest of Yorkshire's beautiful east coast including Bridlington, Filey and Robin Hood's Bay. Alternatively head inland and explore the unspoilt beauty of the North York Moors National Park made famous in the TV series Heartbeat, Brideshead Revisited, All Creatures Great and Small and The Royal.
The Abacus Guest House in Scarborough has a choice of three en-suite double guest rooms, one en-suite family room and three single rooms with shared facilities. Each room is complete with colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and guest towels. all prices are inclusive of a traditional cooked breakfast.
On street parking permits are provided free of charge. Secure parking is available for motorcycles and bicycles. A travel cot and high chair are available if needed. Hair dryer and ironing facilities are available on request.
