The Town House provides home from home comforts and is the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. Guests can be assured of peace and quiet for the duration of their stay and the friendly and relaxing atmosphere has brought people back time and time again.
The Town House bed and breakfast has been sympathetically restored and offers an ideal position for enjoying Whitby. Within minutes you can be in the heart of the old town, wandering its cobbled streets, or on the beautiful sandy beaches. Whitby has a rich history and strong links with the sea, having been the starting point for Captain Cook's voyage into the South Pacific and is still has a working fishing fleet to this day. The famous abbey and St Mary's Church dominates the sky line and was the setting for Bram Stoker's classic novel, 'Dracula'.
The Townhouse B&B offers three en-suite double guest rooms of the highest quality. Each room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge, colour television, clock radio and a hair dryer. We provide a light continental breakfast which is enjoyed in the comfort of your own room and supply rooms with fresh milk and juice daily. Open all year, we do not cater for pets, and all our rooms are non-smoking.
Weekends are a minimum of 2 nights except July and August which are 3 nights. Bank holiday weekends (and some events) are a minimum of 3 nights, apart from: Easter bank holiday is a minimum of 3 nights. Goth festivals are a minimum of 3 nights. Folk week minimum of 5 days.
