Skipton is the gateway to the magnificent Yorkshire Dales. The High Street is home to the famous market and numerous shops and cafés. Take a walk down the many alleyways or gunnels and savour the town's history and character. At the top of the main street is Skipton Castle. Over 900 years old, it is one of the best preserved medieval castles in England. You will be provided with a comprehensive tour sheet and you can explore every corner of the castle. The Rendezvous has teamed up with Airedale Cruising to provide skippered character cruises for hotel guests on narrow boat Lizzie-Jean where you can enjoy stunning views and you can even learn to steer the boat if you wish!
We offer a variety of room types, choose from standard twin, double and family rooms, or upgrade to a Waterfront Room overlooking the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and watch the narrow boats drift by on the Leeds/Liverpool canal. All rooms are ensuite, have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, iron and ironing board, TV with satellite viewing and WiFi internet. We can cater for the corporate traveller too and participate in the Expotel Scheme 'Women Aware' for lone female travellers. Relax and unwind in our leisure centre with private lounge, swimming pool, steam, sauna and whirlpool spa. Let off even more steam in our newly refurbished gym.
We have a range of conference rooms to suit almost any kind of conference, catering from 2 to 400. We offer a dedicated Customer Care Manager who works with our clients and is on hand throughout their event to ensure that all goes according to plan. Our emphasis is squarely on customer service!
