The Hall is a short walk from Robin Hood's Bay and five miles from Whitby. The whole area is known for its outstanding natural beauty making Thorpe Hall an ideal setting.
Benefiting from stunning seaward views over to the cliffs of Ravenscar. Thorpe Hall is set in stunning grounds with Thorpe Beck running along the edge. Whilst the gardens are yours to enjoy during your stay, you may also wish to take advantage of the countryside around Thorpe Hall, where a maze of footpaths stretches right to the coast. Surrounding the Hall are a number of quaint villages, most notable being the Bay. A charming spot, with every twist and turn of a street bringing into view another picture postcard scene. Certainly worth the short stroll from Thorpe Hall!
The Grade II house and its bedrooms benefit from an abundance of period features including mullion windows, fireplaces and fantastic oak paneling. You can relax in the drawing room housing the Farsyde portraits over the fireplace or weather permitting, you may prefer to enjoy the grounds. Wherever you choose, you can rest assured that you always feel at home. Thorpe Hall has seven bedrooms with facilities which are en-suite, private or shared. All rooms offer stunning views out to the coastline or over the village of Fylingthorpe and come equipped with sink basin and tea and coffee making facilities. With so much to offer outside your room, please note that we have intentionally not placed televisions in our rooms. Hair dryer, iron and iron board are available upon request.
Children are welcome. Dogs may be permitted by prior arrangement, but their welcome cannot be guaranteed. Please note that the owners have a dog and a cat.
