Welcome to Ashfield House Bed & Breakfast in Pickering, a luxurious establishment ideal for a romantic break to North Yorkshire. We are pleased to offer two double bedrooms which are both equipped with an ensuite walk-in shower room, flat-screen Freeview TV and luxury extras including fluffy bathrobes and local handmade chocolates from Birdgate Chocolatiers. A delicious home-cooked breakfast helps set you up for the day and is made from local produce, line-caught Alaskan smoked salmon and eggs from our rescued ex-battery hens. We offer a free pass to all our guests for nearby Dalby Forest to help you make the most of the local area during your stay.
Guests are welcome to relax in either of our two spacious lounges including the conservatory which overlooks the beautiful garden. Enjoy the lovely views of the wildlife with a slice of home-made lemon drizzle cake and afternoon tea. Our other lounge is warmed by a wood burner stove in winter and also offers Sky TV, a selection of DVDs and books, music system and plenty of comfy seating. Complimentary wifi service is also available at Ashfield House for your entertainment.

Vegetarians and vegans are very welcome at Ashfield House and we also offer a good range of Fairtrade Foundation products for you to choose from. We are pleased to serve local produce at the B&B including jams, marmalade, bacon and sausages. We also operate a strong 'Green' policy at Ashfield House including green tariff electricity, ground source heat pump, sustainable logs for the wood burner stove, recycling scheme, garden nest boxes and recycled rainwater is harvested and filtered for use in the laundry, garden and lavatories.
