These 5 superb hoiday cottages are ideal as a base for exploring the beautiful countryside of Bronte Country, and for visiting the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton, Bradford, Halifax and the Lake District. The five self catering cottages can accommodate small or large groups from 2 to 6 people, to large groups of 19. Choose from large and small cottages, near to the famous historic village of Haworth in Yorkshire with all it's fine specialist shops, country pubs and restaurants, the Bronte Parsonage of course and sublime Moorland walking, as well as the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway which stops at Haworth.
Bronte country holiday cottages have been converted from old farm buildings and are set in an elevated south facing position on our farm. All are fully inspected by the English Tourist Board Council annually. West Field Farm itself dates from the late 1600s and offers cottages sleeping from 2 to 6 people, or groups of up to 19. All the cottages benefit from period features, electric heating, well equipped kitchens, microwaves, washing machines, fridges, electric cookers etc. There is under cover parking, tumble dryer facilities and a large outdoor play area. All cottages have south facing, uninterrupted views up to Haworth Parish Church with its famous Bronte parsonage and Pennine moorland. Visitors are able to wander freely over the farmland and to walk the two mile farm nature trail. Haworth Main Street with its large variety of pubs and shops and is only half a mile away, easy pleasant walking distance from the cottages. Guests can choose from various rental options, including weekly lets which normally begin on a Saturday and short breaks, usually 3 days. All bed linens are included, as well as electricity from May to September, and is only recharged at cost by meter reading from September through to May. Towels (if required) are extra. We are sorry, we do not welcome pets.
The Farmhouse cottage sleeps 6 people, plus a cot. It's our largest cottage, sleeping 6 people comfortably in three bedrooms. There are two entrances, and a large farmhouse style well equipped kitchen. Enjoy a fantastic lounge with uninterrupted views to Haworth Parish Church with its Bronte Parsonage and Haworth moor. The three bedrooms include a family bathroom with electric shower over the bath. Two bedrooms enjoy the same south facing, sunny aspect as the lounge. Guests benefit from inclusive colour TV, video, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric cooker, CD player, radio. The Mistal is our top of the range cottage, sleeping four people, plus cot, comfortably in one double and one twin bedded room. There's a large family bathroom with electric shower over the bath. Downstairs, the entrance hall leads to a cloakroom, and a large well equipped open plan fitted kitchen/dining area with the added benefit of a fridge/freezer, food processor, and dishwasher and washing machine. For a cosier option, choose The Bronte Barn which sleeps 4 plus a cot. This cottage is light, bright and airy, and is a converted barn which dates from 1831. It's a favourite with families and couples alike. The Bronte Barn includes a large double bedroom, a particularly attractive twin bedded room, and a shower room. The layout is comfortable, with an open plan lounge including colour TV and radio. The kitchen is well equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, and dining area under the large, bright barn window, with views over the farmland up to Haworth Church.
The Stable Loft sleeps 2 plus a child and cot. This cottage has achieved an ETC 3 star grading for quality. It's an ideal honeymoon cottage, or for that special occasion, and is extremely popular as it has stunning views. There's a private outside staircase leading to a super cottage on one level and a large bedroom with additional single bed, and en-suite shower room. Relax in the cosy lounge, and the kitchen is well-equipped and there's an adjacent dining area. Superb open views to the south and north and east of the valley can be seen from this cottage. This is a first floor apartment reached by an external stone staircase to the rear. Stable Cottage is on the ground floor. This cottage sleeps 2 plus one child and a cot and is ETC 3 star graded. Recently converted, this ground floor cosy cottage has superbly designed accommodation with tasteful soft furnishings and is equipped to a high standard. Divine features include the double-glazed sun porch leading to an open plan fully fitted kitchen and dining area. There are comfortable armchairs from which you can watch the colour TV or gaze through the large windows at the south facing views over the farmland up to Haworth Parish Church. The cottage has one bedroom with beautiful pine beds and large tiled en-suite shower room.

To reach the holiday cottages at West Field Farm, follow signs for Haworth Station, Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. Drive past the station with the entrance on your right, Follow Station Road round to the right, over the Railway Bridge. Follow Bridgehouse Lane and Rawdon Road until you reach the Edinburgh Woollen Mill Shop (Bronte Weaving Shed). Turn right into Changegate (signposted Oakworth). Follow this Lord Lane down then drive up Tim Lane until you reach West Field Farm on your left.
