Close to Ingleton, Clapham, Kirkby Lonsdale, Settle and Bentham there are a multitude of activities and walks close by. Halsteads Barn nestles on the side of Burn Moor with stunning views of the Three Peaks. Its tranquil setting affords you a haven of peace and quiet in this luxury accommodation. Our outdoor Hot Tub (available all year) relaxes those weary muscles after a day exploring, or just relax with a glass of what you fancy from our extensive drinks list and take in the unique surroundings.
Evening meals (booked in advance) are home-cooked on the Aga from locally sourced produce and local or British meat. Our Wine List has been specially selected for us and has something for everybodys taste. The Barn still retains many of the original features and has been sympathetically extended using a derelict hay barn to provide the best guest accommodation in the area. a welcoming atmosphere with a mixture of antique and modern furnishings. The large lounge with its wood burning stove for those cosy evenings in, dining room and snug afford you spacious areas to relax and unwind.
Three individually designed bedrooms all en-suite feature power showers, LCD TVs with Freeview, DVD players, Bathrobes, Slippers, Hairdryer, Complimentary Port, Tea Tray, Toiletries and a multitude of towels. Our Super King room is a large room situated in the new part of the barn with a Super King bed and views over the surrounding countryside. The King room is situated in the original part of the barn with a King size bed and Velux windows. The Double room is situated in the original part of the barn with a Double size bed and Velux windows. Drying facilities are available for wet clothing and walking boots.
'Nights in' are a treat at Halsteads Barn. Our set four course evening meals including cheese board are served in our spacious dining room. Coffee can then be taken in the lounge by the fire or in the snug where board games are available. The Hot Tub is a treat no matter what the time of year - Spring and Summer listen to the multitude of moorland birds and watch the sunset, or Autumn and Winter see how many shooting stars you can count (there is no light pollution at Halsteads Barn).
