The Linden Tree offers both bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation just 1.5 miles from Thirsk in North Yorkshire. We lie at the end of Thirsk Racecourse and are just 250mfrom Thirsk Railway Station, perfect for racegoers and those travelling without a car. Thirsk is centrally located and is the gateway for those who wish to explore both the Moors of North Yorkshire and the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. There are many good walks to be found locally, including the Cleveland Way, and a number of fishing lakes can be found nearby. The larger towns and cities of Harrogate, York and Teeside can all be reached easily from here.

Many guests visit Thirsk either for the races, to fish or to enjoy the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors, so we understand it's sometimes difficult for you to know when you may be out in the mornings, so we give you the flexibility of the type of accommodation you need. We also welcome groups and pets to our accommodation. Please notify us prior to booking so we can ensure we have the facilities you need to make this your perfect Yorkshire break.

If it's B&B accommodation that you would prefer, we have 4 rooms which are all on ground level. The rooms all have single beds in them, but doubles can be catered for if you let us know at the time of booking. We have a family which includes a large shower room and one of the rooms is also ideal for guests who need wheelchair access. In the morning enjoy a delicious traditional breakfast to start your day. Continental and vegetarian breakfasts are available on request. For those who prefer a little more flexibility to their stay, our self catering chalets are ideal. Each are available for sole, double and family occupancy. Again the rooms have 3 single beds, but double beds can be arranged. There's also a futon available for a fourth person. All our rooms whether B&B or self catering have a fully fitted with kitchen area, shower room and of course a TV!

We have a secure room for those who have brought bikes and fishing equipment with them. We allow pets with prior notice. Child discounts available. Children under the age of 12 £15.00 for bed and breakfast and £12.00 for self catering.
