Named after the historic Midland railway running through Woodlesford, the inn features a unique working model train running at picture rail height around the pub.

Our five guest rooms are spread around a courtyard and include a choice of single, double, twin or 1 spacious family room with a double and single bed. Hearty full cooked breakfast is included in your stay and all rooms have free WiFi, flatscreen digital TV, tea and coffee making facilities and individual entrances which open out onto the courtyard area. Free WiFi is also available in the pub area. We're perfectly placed for weddings and events held at Oulton Hall situated just 1 mile away and Woodlesford Station with direct fast rail links to Leeds city centre is just a 5 minute walk from the inn.

Ample free parking is available in our large on-site car park and the inn features three guest lounges. The public bar has a large flatscreen TV with Sky package and we serve an exceptional range of beers, handpulled guest ales and ciders. Food is served daily, Monday to Saturday for lunch from 12 noon to 3pm and evening dinner 5pm to 8.30pm. Inclusive breakfast is served from 9am to 3pm and our popular Sunday carvery with a choice of roasts from quality local Howgate & Farrar Butches is served from 12 noon to 3pm.
