Directions: (Please note that sat-nav systems in our immediate area are unreliable; do not go up Ellen Holme Lane) By road going west: take junction 26 on the M62, the A58 to Halifax and the A646 to Hebden Bridge. At Luddendenfoot, just after a pelican crossing, turn right into Luddenden Lane and follow the road up to Midgley. By road going east: Take Junction 24 on the M62 and follow the signs for Elland and Halifax. At the first set of traffic lights, turn left onto the A6026 to Sowerby Bridge, go through a mini-roundabout and turn left at traffic lights at a t-junction after about 2 miles. Turn right at the next set of traffic lights towards Hebden Bridge and Burnley and left at the next t-junction onto the A646. Proceed as above. By rail: the nearest stations are Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge on the Leeds/Manchester line. We offer a free pick up and return service. By bus: From Halifax Numbers 574 and 575 every 60 minutes during the day and evening. New House Farm is in the middle of the village between Tray Royd Lane and Yew Trees Croft, opposite Pleasant View. A stone well marks the beginning of our property.
