The Whoop Hall is a first class Lake District venue for leisure, weddings and conferences. The Hall is a friendly, family run hotel with leisure facilities set in stunning surroundings in the beautiful Lune Valley, on the outskirts of the attractive market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, a perfect base to explore both the English Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. All our de-luxe 23 rooms are ensuite and uniquely furnished and all are fully equipped with colour TV, radio, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. All guests now staying with us are to enjoy the full complimentary use of the hotels new Country Club facilities including 18m swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa and state of the art fully equipped fitness studio. We have guest rooms that can accommodate families with children and one ground floor room specifically designed to meet the needs of the disabled. Four poster rooms are also available.

Our Lonsdale Suite provides the ideal venue for your wedding celebration. The suite incorporates it's own bar and dance floor and can be arranged in many styles to suit your requirements, ensuring exceptional service for all your guests. The Whoop Hall has a license to hold a civil ceremony if required, with ceremonies taking place in the Lonsdale Suite itself or the smaller Ruskin Room. We offer an excellent range of conference facilities to meet the requirements of your business. All our meeting rooms, including The Lonsdale Suite, The Ruskin Room and The Barbon Room, have natural light and ventilation and are equipped with phone lines. We can provide flip charts, stationery, OHP projectors and screens as well as TV and video facilities where required. Meetings from 2-200 people can be arranged.
