No.54, Helmsley, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park is a real 5 star winner. The property is an early 1850 cottage and has three ground floor en suite rooms facing a pretty and secluded courtyard. Wonderful and hard to leave there's all you could need for time-out.

The delightful en- suite rooms are furnished to the highest standard. They’re bright and extremely comfortable with luxurious bedding, crisp white sheets and thick soft towels, there are fabulous ren toiletries, Freeview TV/DVD, free Wifi, a great tea and coffee choice and a host of extra goodies. Attention to detail and cleanliness are second to none. No.54 are also 2012/2013 winners of Deliciously Yorkshires Best Use of Local Produce on a Menu for its breakfast. It’s a true feast to set you up for the day ahead – great home baking! Every need is catered for. We welcome children over the age of 11 and No.54 is a non smoking B&B.

You’re more than welcome to bring along your well behaved dog but we do have to make a charge for this, £15. Parking is free and unrestricted and we’re only a short 2 minute walk from the Market Place. Whether walking, sight seeing, taking part in Yorkshire hospitality, shopping or resting this is a real treat. Castle Howard, Rievaulx Abbey and our own Walled Garden are all close by and we’re not too far from the seaside either.
