Located on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, the cottages were converted from an 18th Century granary. They all have stunning views stretching for miles, looking across to the Howardian Hills and North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

From these picturesque self-catering holiday cottages, Our guests are within easy reach of the North Yorkshire Moors; Market towns of Malton, Pickering and Helmsley; Stately homes of Castle Howard, Duncombe Park and Sledmere House; National Trust properties of Nunnington Hall and Rievaulx Terrace; Seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and the RSBP nature reserve at Bempton; English Heritage sites including castles at Pickering and Helmsley, abbeys of Rievaulx, Whitby and Kirkham; Family Attractions including the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp and the Yorkshire Air Museum. Fresh farm eggs, a pint of milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge are only the beginnings of a warm welcome and a truly memorable stay, while we pride ourselves on being discreetly available should you need anything during your holiday.
Cottages each sleep 4 people and are on the ground floor. Some cottages have a sepearte sitting room and open fire.All cottages have a kitchen, dining area, bathroom with shower and bath, double bedroom and twin bedroom. Electric storage heaters throughout, all fuel, power, linen (duvets) & towels included. TV including a DVD, ample parking, cot and high chair available, Stereo cassette radio, microwave, dishwasher,garden chairs and table, BBQ available, shared utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. A Games room is available when booking Derwent Cottage.
Our cottages probably have one of the most stunning views in this part of Yorkshire. Week long bookings start and finish on a Saturday. Long weekend or short breaks available from mid September to Easter, min 3 days. 3 nights start Friday, 4 days start Monday.
