The sandy beaches at Hunmanby Gap are just a ten minute drive away and the popular seaside resorts of Scarborough and Bridlington are both within easy reach. The area has a great reputation for bird watching and the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is extremely popular with twitchers. There are plentiful opportunities for cycling and walking locally and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the North Yorkshire Forests lie within easy reach.
