If you're looking for a B&B guesthouse which will welcome your pet like royalty then look no further than Paws-a-While. We are both animal lovers, treat our pets like family and realise the difficulties that can often arise when trying to holiday with animals. Unlike other pet friendly places, we don't just accept dogs. Bring your cat, or even your horse. We're ideally placed in the village of Pocklington, close to York. The B&B is a converted stable block which once belonged to Kilnwick Percy Hall. Paws is now privately owned, and sits within forty acres of parkland alongside lakes, woods and a nearby golf course. The Yorkshire Wolds is ideal for dog walking and horse riding, so your pets will also have plenty to do whilst you are staying with us!

Located in East Yorkshire, just outside of York, there are plenty of activities and attractions to enjoy on your break. Take the short journey into the York and explore the historic city by taking a ghost walk through the city, visit York Minster and trace the city's history from the Roman occupation or go shopping in the Coppergate shopping centre and get served in the best restaurants in Yorkshire. Guests can also explore Hull and visit 'The Deep'. The world only submarium, guests can view over 3,500 fish including sharks and rays or head towards the idyllic seaside town of Bridlington and have awake along the clean beaches and among the Old Town.
