If you're looking for a B&B guesthouse which will welcome your pet like royalty then look no further than Paws-a-While. We are both animal lovers, treat our pets like family and realise the difficulties that can often arise when trying to holiday with animals. Unlike other pet-friendly places, we don't just accept dogs. Bring your cat, or even your horse. We're ideally placed in the village of Pocklington, close to York, and the B&B is a converted stable block which once belonged to Kilnwick Percy Hall. Paws is now privately owned, and sits within forty acres of parkland alongside lakes, woods and a nearby golf course. The Yorkshire Wolds is ideal for dog walking and horse riding, so your pets will also have plenty to do whilst you are staying with us!

Rooms are bright and airy and guests can choose from single, twin and double rooms all with private or en-suite facilities and an inclusive breakfast that you can choose to have on the terrace. We also have a private sauna for relaxation. We may be able to offer evening meals with advance notice, and of course we welcome your pets completely free of charge.
