We serve teas, coffees and home cooked meals and all our cakes and scones are home baked. It is surrounded by historical heritage and is awe-inspiring to the eye with its picturesque scenes. We have three wonderful rooms that are suitable for families, business individuals, couples and groups alike. There are plenty of attractions nearby such as Shandy Hall, the Whitehorse and the Mouseman Workshop in the village of Kilburn and the ruins of an ancient Abbey in the village of Byland. All of this exquisiteness will leave a lasting effect after your visit to Coxwold.
The Coxwold is surrounded by local market towns that are all within easy reach. The James Herriot Centre is a key attraction in the town of Thirsk and remains ever popular because of the classic BBC series All Creatures Great and Small. Byland village will leave you breathless with its exceptional scenery and will be an explorers delight for walkers and nature lovers. Allow yourself to be swept away by the soothing and laid back atmosphere where you will be surely greeted by a smile from everyone you meet.

We offer three individually styled bedrooms. There are two doubles and one twin which will meet all your comfort needs. All rooms have private bathroom facilities. One of the double bedrooms has a four poster bed and will surely be a preference for those seeking a romantic break.
We provide food and drink to all types of special events and functions, and can accommodate for up to 50 guests. We were recently voted the second most desirable place to visit in England. We were a highly recommended tearoom of the year. We are pet friendly.
