There are amny natural places of interest, famous stately homes and buildings and the beautiful Yorkshore Dales of Wharfedale, Wensleydale, and Swaledale closeby for you to visit.

A fifteen minute stroll by the banks of the River Nidd or by the road is Pateley Bridge, a small and delightful market town, where the attractive floral displays in the Main Street and courtyards welcome visitors. There are a number of interesting shops and pleasant tearooms and an excellent local history museum. Mill Race Lodge is privately owned and maintained with all gas, electyricity, towels and bedding included in your rental fee.
