The Sitwell Arms Hotel is privately owned, offering a professional yet friendly personal service, combined with a unique charm. The hotel was originally built in the 18th century and has been tastefully extended to include numerous facilities including ample conference, wedding and dining space. The hotel restaurant has real character, with oak beams and interesting décor, making it the ideal venue for a relaxing meal. We offer an extensive a la carte menu seven days a week, a steak night menu on Wednesday and Thursday evening and a Traditional Sunday Lunch, all which are reasonably priced. Alternatively choose from our Chef's Weekly Specials. The Leger room has oak refectory tables, and is available for dinner parties and smaller functions up to 36 people. A table de'hote menu can be made available for parties of 10 or more.

The Hotel offers 30 spacious en-suite bedrooms, including non-smoking, standard and executive rooms. Family rooms are also available and our four-poster honeymoon suites make the Sitwell Arms the perfect choice for a special occasion. Why not compliment your meal with one of our carefully selected wines, with traditional regional or new world wines available, or even sample the local vine from adjacent Renishaw Hall. A relaxing drink can also be enjoyed in our comftable Cocktail Bar or Resident Lounge. Alternatively you can enjoy a drink in the informal atmosphere of the Lounge Bar Or choose from our Bar Menu, where modern dishes, traditional favourites and snacks are available in comfortable pub surroundings. We offer weekly pub attractions such as quiz night and Karaoke, also enjoyed by many locals.
The hotel excels as a conference and wedding venue. We offer individual packages for your Wedding, whether it be a Reception after the church or a Civil Wedding held in our beautiful oak beamed Leger Room. Whatever your requirements our experienced Wedding co-ordinators guide you throughout. Surrounding grounds offer the perfect setting for photographs, taken either around our lily pond or in the 6 acres of land adjoining the Hotel. The magnificent grounds of Renishaw Hall are adjacent to the hotel. Conference & Function facilities are extensive, with facilities flexible enough for groups 6-200. The hotel caters for business meetings, conference presentations, exhibitions and banqueting functions. It is particularly well suited for training seminars with natural daylight in all rooms and a range of audio visual equipment available. Booking arrangements are flexible with room hire only, day delegate and 24hr delegate packages on request.
