Primrose Cottage provides so much more than just your average self catering retreat and guests can expect peace, tranquillity and comfort throughout their stay in this 18th Century granary. Idyllically situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, the cottage provides a perfect base for exploring all this wonderful area has to offer.
At Primrose Cottage, guests are within easy reach of a host of local attractions, including National Trust stately homes such as Sledmere House and Newby Hall; English Heritage Castles and charming market towns with their many boutique shops, quaint cafés and homely pubs. For those who love the outdoors, North Yorkshire and its surrounding areas offer a wealth of walking and cycling trails, not to mention themed walks in York City Centre.
Accommodation - sleeps 4 · Sitting Room · Kitchen · Double Bedroom - sleeps 2 · Twin Bedroom - sleeps 2 · Bathroom Primrose Cottage has been designed with the partially disabled in mind. Parking is close to the cottage and from the car there is a ramp to the front door. The accommodation is all on the same level with no internal steps and all the doors are wide enough for wheel chairs. However, as yet, we have not participated in the National Assessable Scheme.

Free range eggs, milk and a bottle of wine on arrival is how we like to welcome our guests, and while we'll happily leave you to your holiday - we will always be available should you need anything during your stay.
