Oaklands is set in the historic market town of Holmfirth in Yorkshire, famous as the setting for the long running BBC television series, 'Last of the Summer Wine'. This stunning stone built property is set in the beautiful Holme Valley and boasts magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. This spacious self catering holiday home caters for up to ten people in seven bedrooms and contains many modern facilities to help your break away to be as comfortable as possible. The house is only a five minute walk to the town centre and there is much to see and do in the local area. The unspoilt beauty of the Peak District can be reached in just a ten minute drive. Fans of 'Last of the Summer Wine' are sure to enjoy a visit to the 'Compos' Restaurant, a mere one minute stroll away. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained too, take them to The Zone, a huge play centre, or the Metrodome, a indoor water theme park, whatever your age, there is something to do for everyone.
