Cawder Hall Cottages are rurally situated, surrounded by fields and moorland, where sheep and cows roam. However the cottages are only one mile from the historic market town of Skipton in beautiful North Yorkshire. Cawder Hall Cottages were formed by converting some of the farm buildings - a mistal, stable, forge and barn, into seven delightful holiday retreats. The cottages are set at the end of a quiet country lane offering delightful views of the surrounding countryside.
Whilst retaining their old world charm and exposed beams, each cottage is well appointed and features pine furniture and modern appliances. The kitchen areas each have a gas cooker, (except the Hay Loft, which has an electric cooker and Granary which has a double hot plate) fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven and a good selection of quality cutlery, crockery and utensils. The accommodation is set out with three cottages - BOSKIN - MISTAL - STABLE in a cobbled courtyard facing south, so they get the benefit of our beautiful sunsets and make an ideal place for barbecues. One cottage is detached - SMITHY - with easterly views getting the sunrises, whilst two other cottages - BARN LOFT and GRANARY - overlook the adjacent fields with sheep and cows. The remaining small cottage - HAY LOFT- is in an elevated position which gives superb views over the Aire valley. Most cottages are suitable for disabled guests, being on one level and having easy vehicular access. The Smithy is Grade 3 in the National Accessibility Scheme.
